Well. As I said in the earlier posting. I am very found of all three contributions for the midsummer challenge. I have been juggling with the thought to give the honour and the priize to all three participants. But I realized that I would regard myself as a coward if I couldn't decide on one winner. And no one wants to be remembered as a coward. :P So... the honour is for all three participants. Regarding the prize... here we go...

Yellow! A color which is not that common in scrapping in general, but is getting somewhat more accepted. The last LO I made before I took my long break had a lot of yellow in it. And... among the first LOs I made after my long break was in yellow and black and some white.
What does then yellow say to a person. One totally non scientific answer is that yellow represent something crazy and ill. Another equally non scientific answer is that yellow represent something bright, warm, cheerful and full of hope. I go for a combination. Yellow is for me a playful color that brightens up and makes me happy. Sometimes I wonder why I don't confess that I am a sucker for yellow. :P
That I am a sucker for crazy things that bends my (and hopefully also others) mind should be no news. ;) Freestylin' is the shit.
Therefore. Just look at this inspirational picture. The somewhat nostalgic touch of psychedelics. The eager cheer leader running towards the sceptic guy and the couple standing there in the back holding each other, watching the surrounding chaos. :) Also note that the poster concerns something that involves a classic. A play (just look at that in itself!) written by the man who coined "To be or not to be... that's the question..."
Then look at this page made by Anki. Look at the striking similarities in color combination. Look at the amazingly freestylin' decorations made out of a plastic bag and a cardboard from a six pack of beers winded through a scrapping machine. Look at all those staples. Look at that somewhat psychedelic pattern on the plastic bag. Look at the, in general, brave color combinations. And finally... just look, read and contemplate on the text that is adhered to this page.
Therefore. Just therefore, I decide on Anki as the winner for the midsummer challenge. Congratulations for daring to be you! :) Please continue to be just that. And please, give me your address by e-mailing me so I can send you some freestylin' and hopefully also mind bending items to scrap more amazing LOs of and with.
