Vision - Punky Scraps Challenge 32

"Punky Scraps Challenge 32 - Get Picky" looks like this
- Tamara - Hessian/Mesh
- Kat - A Tag
- Cheryl - steam punk imagery
- Kerry - your own handwriting
- Marie - black mist
- Jolanda - a picture of your eye (s). what do they say/mean to you?
- Celina - lace of any kind
- Ashley - Doodling
- Misty - metal
and you have to choose at least two to play along.

As I am I, I picked all and came up with this layout.

A layout with all nine or all ten picks.

It's both mesh...

... and hessian.

It's messy layers with many different colors and media.

It's a lot of hilarouis fun.

It's about that future vision I see - a steamy punk vision. ;)

Remember to play along in October. Two great prizes are up. Look here.

Non-scrap items: A lot. Ask if you want to know some detail I made and used for this layout. :)

You wish you were a punkrocker 2.... - Punky Scraps Challenge 31

Friday - yesterday - means a new challenge over at Punky Scraps. This one - "Challenge 31 - Spoooooky Sketch......" - is, as the name says a spooky sketch.

Note however that you don't have to do a Halloween theme. Gotta like it!

Well anyway, my take on this challenge is well... me! Look for yourself...

Perhaps some of you remember a card I made a long time ago, back in 2007. It was among my first cards and yes I won a price for it. Here it is again.

This card stands as a reminder of what I really like about the creative process. How? I let that to the reader to figure out...

Anyway. My sketch interpretation for Punky Scraps (doesn't that fit well so say...) is on the same theme.

If you look and see you notice exactly the same element as on the card. Yes, I made two of those back in 2007.

The barb wire is something I have been waiting to make since the same time. I didn't find my black metal wire so I hade to invent another solution. It worked.

Otherwise, I had some leftovers and add-ons from my tartan layout and it just went this way with this layout. ;)

Strange thing that I pretty much followed the sketch without reinventing every detail. Even that black spider is there... you know the story?

Eager to see your interpretation of this lovely inspiring sketch. Head over to Punky Scraps and participate for a chance to win a nice price.

Icke-scrapmaterial: Paper of unknown source, handmade decorations, handmade stamps, handstamped overlay, tickets of my design, felt spider and so on

Ride the wave... - Punky Scraps Challenge 30

During october Punky Scraps have this awesome challenge. It's about one thing I really like.

Punky Scraps Challenge 30 - Spooooooky.......... is all about Collage! Such a wonderful thing to just do and do again as many times as you like. Yes, it's about layers. You can do it whimsical and really punk inspired or more sophisticated and perhaps a bit mystical. The important thing is to do. Head over to Punky Scraps blog and join the fun.

There you can see what great amazing things my fellow punksters have created. Really inspiring. My own contribution is also there... and here.

This started with a black paper. You can see it if you look. :)

My color scheme is a bit not me, but also me. It's smooth and somewhat grunge - just the way I sometimes like it.

To that was media, color, paper and more color added in layers. How many layers? I don't remember. What colors? I don't remember (even if i can recognize some of them... :) ) It's usually like this. I just do it.

And then those details, always those details. Love 'em!

Yes, I am curious. In life in general and also on what you come up with for this great challenge.

Non-scrap items: Magazine pages, colored paper of some kind, popsicle stick, plastic beads (alphabet and aeroplane), tulle, foam rubber hearts, rain dots, tapes, paints and likely more things.

Hey ho, lets go

It was a while - a long while - since I participated in any challenge now. When I saw the picture for Punky Scraps Challenge 27 - Tartan Anyone? I had to just do it! Look for yourself...

Isn't that inspiring or what. So many detalis and yes, it's punk rock!

Then I looked further and found Punky Scraps Challenge 29 - Get Picky! and for some reason I picked two things from there too. It's

"Nat - use this picture to inspire you"

and

"Elin - use chipboard"

I came up with this layout...

... with and about a litte punk rocker with a lot of attitude. :)

The title "hey ho, lets go" was given by the first inspiration picture. Actually that song is one of his favourites.

This layout contains lot of punk attributes of different kind. You can see for yourself. There are - for example - tartan, safety pins, other metal details, badges (real ones), more punk detals in both paper and fabric and - of course - the studs from the belt.

Attitude - hell yes! ;)

Actually so much attitude that the layout contains real blood... on the pocket for hidden journaling... :P A pocket which ones contained guitar strings.

No limits, anyone?

77 Punk rocks!

Non-scrap items: A lot of found objects and selfmade decorations
