A really light time of the year.
Contrasts can be so wonderful. I have here created something about something which may be associated with either complete darkness or the light. Which is it for me?
Well... I regard the winter as a light time of the year. At least when the snow is there covering the land. Some people suggests that it's dark during the winter and this applies especially to the Northern parts of the country. Those people can never have experienced a real winter. Winter should have snow as far as you can see since it gives you light and warmth. The winter in the Northern parts of Sweden is not as biting as compared to the winter in the Southern parts of the country. Slush, ice, thaw, wind and constant darkness is what the Southern winter has to offer. So... even if I dress in a way that makes it difficult to move since I resemble a Michelin man, the chills are not getting me as soon as the land is covered with snow. I therefore say: Let it snow - it gives light and warmth.

Vilken härlig LO - fotot blir så ljust mot det där mörka. Precis som vintern är... Kommer ursprungligen från mer nordliga breddgrader och jag var den första som blev överlycklig för att det snöade -jamen det blir så ljust då fick jag förklara för alla oförstående personer... (antagligen även bilägare vilket inte jag är). /Minerva
